The Race Car Crash - Chapter One
Reid stepped forward with purpose. Life requires money. Ready, fire, and then aim. He knew the consequences of not acting. Struggle, effort, and challenge on a downward slide. The entrepreneur experiment fails. For some, a return to the matrix is possible.
For Reid Lawrence no way back exists. After years of playing this game he grew tired. Stable didn’t exist. Rises, falls, and transitions were his reality. He was an original creator and lifestyle designer before the terms existed. Without fail what he thought turned into his reality.
The pain of the transitions between these entrepreneur experiments was overcome by the excitement of finding the next wave to surf. In between destruction and elevation was a long void of nothing.
This was financially and emotionally draining. He always found a way. Resourcefulness comes when feeling inadequate motivates action. That wasn’t the problem. The issue was bigger.
What was the point in any of this?
Was there a better way to run a society?
Why did certain people with superior minds and inferior thoughts define what’s next?
It made no sense to him that analytical organizers knew nothing about the experience of life but got access to money and influence. Society rolled over as change rippled across all of its industries.
What was crushed did need to transform. Old must wither and die. What doesn’t work is replacing old with something worse.
A divided society where strong beliefs and convictions overwhelmed creative intelligence and quality work. Opinion projectors now controlled the world.
All domains of life crumbled due to internal rot. Media, education, and politics are notable examples. Bad mechanics everywhere. Creative product pushed to the side. Well marketed attractive characters rose to the top. It happened before his very eyes.
Why do people allow this, he thought?
They could opt-out of the mediocre instead of supporting its economic success.
Was he now one of them?
An opinion marketer focused on his KPIs rather than an original creator bringing quality into the world?
Instead of forcing results he sat down to watch for the next black swan hiding in the market. What’s next always arrives when it’s least expected.
His new purpose was to find his and then surf whatever wave carried the black swan into the future as the current society exhausted by itself collapsed into the sea.
The opinion projectors could not be unplugged. They could be ignored. Deep underneath the sea formed like pearls the liberation mechanics were the black swans.
Reid Lawrence was one of them. He wasn’t the only one. Forged like steel wrapped in cotton over the next few years his journey into purpose led to a surprise beginning.
